Starry Sky by North Sky Photography
I am constantly being caught without a tripod. Like, constantly. You’d think after years of being a photographer that I’d have learned my lesson by now and own two - one for home and one for my car. But, noooooooooo… I still leave home without it all the time and whine about having to shoot beautiful stars by balancing my camera on the trunk of my car and keeping my fingers crossed.
I was shooting for the Milky Way when I made this photograph. Initially, I thought it was underexposed and not what I was looking for. Once I’d edited the Milky Way shots I went back and looked at this one again. It’s simple. It’s elegant. It’s just stars.
I love it.
Check back tomorrow for some of my tips on shooting the night sky…
